What began in Grandma’s soup pot more than 25 years ago is now the LONCIUM brewery. Behind it is Alois: founder, mastermind and a passion for brewing.
A stay at LONCIUM brings that story to life. The brewery is part of our home. The beer comes from our own brewery. And hotel guests, locals and beer lovers meet in the Brew Pub.

Our alcohol-free beers have taken all three podium places at the Austrian championship: Hazy NEIPA, FREEPA and Sportgams. Our alcohol-free range also includes a wheat beer and the Gailtaler . There is a favourite for everyone – even without alcohol.

Our brewery office and shop are open Monday to Friday, 08:00–13:00 . Our beer sommelier Sabrina will look after you – charming, dedicated and knowledgeable.
She is your contact for brewery tours, tastings and brewing workshops and will gladly help you choose. A favourite beer, a gift or a piece of LONCIUM to take home: drop in and browse!

Stay right where
the beer is born.
Alois’s great-grandfather brewed beer here until 1903. Today the LONCIUM brewery is once again part of the family property – with a modern brewhouse and bottling in the former hay barn.
LONCIUM is the old Celtic name for Mauthen. Our beer carries it out into the world. You can stay right here.
