Cross-country Skiing – Our Greatest Winter Love

Of all the winter sports, one has clearly established itself over the years – and for us, it’s long been more than just a sport: Cross-country skiing is a passion.

Why? Because it’s one of the healthiest, most versatile, and most enjoyable sports there is. And because here, in Kötschach-Mauthen and the Upper Gailtal, it’s simply perfect for it: Many kilometers of perfectly groomed trails, nestled in the stunning backdrop of the Southern Alps.

In modern parlance, it’s called Nordic cruising – and yes, we think that’s spot on! When you glide so gently over the snow, enjoy the silence, feel the sun on your face, and cover kilometer after kilometer under a brilliantly blue sky…

Oh man! A dream!
