Fly Fishing in the Gail Valley – Nature Experience with Wow Factor
Fly fishing in the Gail Valley is something special! Wild and romantic fishing grounds, crystal-clear waters, and exclusive hidden places make every fishing trip a real adventure.
Our own fishing waters, in family ownership for generations, is the “Planner” area – an approximately 2 km long section of the Gail that elicits a scenic wow from every angler with its natural beauty.
But that’s just the beginning. Let’s move on to two very special waters:
Grünsee – A reservoir located at 1,250 meters above sea level that deceptively resembles a natural lake. Emerald green water, great depth visibility, a fascinating mirror for the surrounding mountain world.
Zollnersee – A mountain lake at 1,780 meters with an area of 1 hectare. Here you’ll find not only fish – fish – fish, but also a geological journey through time. Smooth and rough, gray, blue, and red stones tell of the wonders of the earth, as nature has written a true picture book of earth’s history in the Gail Valley.
… but that’s another story altogether. Until then: Tight lines and good luck on the water!
