Barbara is not only the powerhouse behind Loncium, but also a true go-getter with a passion for sports, nature, and now beauty as well.

She discovered cross-country skiing 5 years ago – whenever time allows, she can be found on the trail right behind the house. Oh yes. It’s awesome! ❄️

In autumn 2024, the e-mountain bike was added – suddenly she climbs heights she never thought possible. And when fitness is right? Then the E simply goes away!

But since March 2025, a new passion has gripped her: Loncia – her own cosmetics line. Inspired by her own skin story and the positive effects of hops, she has developed a high-quality, natural care line. And now? Fully immersed in beauty fever!

Less sport, more well-being – with the power of hops.

Alois – Brewmaster, Mountain Lover Idea Hunter
Alois is not only the founder of the Loncium beer manufactory but also a man with a great love for beer – and you can taste it in every single creation. His heart beats for handcrafted beers that tell stories, surprise, and delight. For him, beer is not just a drink – it’s culture, craftsmanship, and pure passion.

But when he’s not tinkering in the brewery or developing new recipes, he’s drawn to the outdoors. In winter, he loves ski touring, is slowly but surely discovering cross-country skiing, and has recently started exploring long-distance hiking trails – step by step, but preferably in the mountains.

Yet his spirit of discovery reaches much further: Alois is always on the lookout for new ideas and exciting vibes. That’s why you’ll find him, if not in Mauthen, then far, far away – where inspiration and creativity flow, where new beer trends are born, and where he continues to develop his vision for Loncium.

Hardworking? The word is not enough for Milaim! For almost three years, he has been the backbone of the Loncium Kitchen – reliable, precise, and with a creative flair that elevates our dishes to the next level.

As Isat’s brother, gastronomy seems to run in his blood. And even though he prefers to stay in the background, we all know: Nothing works here without Milaim!

Only suggestion for improvement? Maybe eat a little more – or start with strength training right away!

Iris – Back to the Roots a Real Asset to Our Team!
After over 30 years in the clothing industry, Iris has found her way back to her true passion – gastronomy. And we’re more than happy about that! Since May 2024, she has been strengthening our team and ensuring perfect evening service with her warmth and experience.

But Iris can do even more: She’s a true Mauthen native, a nature and horse lover through and through – and if you need the best tips for hikes, tours, or hidden spots in the Carnic Alps, she’s the right person to ask.

Annemarie – The Queen of Rooms and Master of Dry Humor
For several years, Annemarie has been an indispensable pillar of our team, and when it comes to the rooms, she has everything under control.

What do we particularly appreciate about her? Her dry, accurate humor. Always with a cool quip on her lips, but above all: Always there when help is needed.

A true professional in the hotel industry – Annemarie knows the business, she knows the guests, she knows the team. You can’t fool her. She knows exactly how things work – and that with an impressive mix of experience, insight, and charm.

Nadine – Our Anchor When Things Get Heated
Nadine is our savior in hot phases. As a self-employed person, she jumps in to help out in our restaurant and assists when things really get busy. Always friendly, always in a good mood, and up for any fun.

When she’s not supporting us, she dedicates herself with great passion to her stable, her horses, and her work in equine pedagogy. She teaches with heart and ensures that horse lovers of all ages are in the best hands.
